Breathwork Coaching

In 2022, Eibhlin completed her certification as a Transformational Breath Coach to complement her coaching practice. Conscious Connected Breathwork helps clients to achieve clearer thinking and improve overall wellbeing. Using the unique combination of coaching and Transformational Breath, Eibhlin is seeing deep long-lasting results with her clients particularly in the area of stress reduction, and burnout recovery.

Breathwork Coaching

Conscious Connected Breathwork works on three levels:

Firstly, it teaches you to use your breath to open the complete respiratory system. Physically this energises the body, clears toxins, and boosts the immune system. Transformational Breath also reduces stress hormones that the body accumulates over time; each session can clear “something” (for example, it dissolves stress), and leave behind feelings of relaxation in the body.

Secondly, emotionally, Transformational Breath clears unresolved issues/emotions. We accumulate negative experiences, traumas and painful memories throughout life which can lead to stuck and unresolved emotions. Each session creates an opportunity for these disowned parts and unresolved emotions to be integrated/healed on a subconscious level.

The third level is dependent upon belief systems; for some it opens spiritual pathways and for others it helps fast track them to a deep meditative state, which is always a welcome state in our busy lives.

Some of the benefits of Breathwork include:

  • Increased oxygenation throughout the body

  • Improved energy levels

  • Better circulation

  • Clearer thinking

  • Help with addictions, stress, emotional trauma.

  • Improved feelings of well-being, balance, confidence

  • Enhanced feelings of power and ability to change old patterns.

The benefits of Breathwork are often experienced following a single session but follow up sessions are recommended to sustain the benefits and to make lasting changes.

How does it work?

The consciously connected breathwork session is generally performed lying down with a gentle open mouth and a relaxed jaw.

The participant is active in their inhale and passive in their exhale, taking deep breaths in through the mouth and then simply ‘letting go’ on the exhale.

As the participant continues to breathe through their mouth they will begin to consciously connect the breath removing any pauses between the inhale and exhale.

The session is guided verbally by myself and accompanied by a music playlist to support the journey.

The Guided session lasts approximately 1 hour. Please allow up to two hours for the intake, demonstration and check in following the session.

What to expect?

It is worth being aware of some of the physical, mental and emotional experiences which are common for breathers. Many will experience a dry mouth for the first few minutes of the session, changes in body temperature or tingling in the body particularly in the extremities.

These physical changes are common as we move to this different way of breathing and will disappear when the participant comes back to their normal breath.

Again, this will stop when the participant softens their exhale or returns to their normal breath. The emergence of emotions and old memories in these sessions are also very common and allow an opportunity for emotional release. I recommended participants not try to ‘figure out’ or interpret any emotions that arise but instead allow themselves to express whatever emotion is present.

Eibhlin will send an Intake form in advance of the session.
